The habitat surrounds the visitors in an Andean forest, with the natural sounds and sights of a river and representative plants of the area. The project also includes a laboratory for the reproduction of butterflies that the visitors can see through a window.
The design of the structure for the butterfly netting allows for a column free space, providing an illusion of an incredibly natural setting in which to enjoy and learn about butterflies. In the vicinity of the butterfly habitat, various interactive interpretive elements allow parents and children to enjoy and learn together at the same time.
